Dil Raj, a young Pashto singer, says that many young men and women from Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries have recently come to the world of Pashto music and they are trying to give a world standard to Pashto music and it is a matter of great pleasure.
Dilraj, a 9-year-old singer who has sung hundreds of songs since she was a child and has become very popular in Pashtun society, says that when she stepped into the music industry, most of the new artists’ burial experiences took place. No more paying attention to changing your voice with the help of computer.
“But that’s not the case now. Now that we hear these new songs on social media, the singers are not only very popular but their voices are also good, they are also in tune, the quality of the video colors, the quality of editing, Looks taller than India ”
Speaking to Voice of America Diva website, she said that there is no institution in Pakhtunkhwa for the training and promotion of artists, which is why if there are talented artists, there is no opportunity to showcase their talents.
“Our poor artists record songs out of their own pockets, make videos with useless cameras and non-professionals for their own money, and then sit in front of non-professionals for editing.”
Delaraj says Pashtuns and Afghanistan are two major markets for Pashto music, but unfortunately both places do not have government patronage for Pashto music.
She said that there is so much power in Pashto folk songs that if it is revived with new music and artistic experience, it can have a good place in the market, benefit and attract new artists, but she says that is not the case. It turns out that no one here is willing to invest in music.
Dil Raj says he is happy that his new songs are becoming more and more popular and Pashtuns like them but he also wants to give other new singers a chance to come forward and become famous.
